Regular dance classes in Bharatanatyam are offered to children, young people and adults who wish to either embark on a career of professional dance or learn for their enjoyment

Classes in Bharatanatyam take place at weekends and the times are as shown below. Classes are structured into grades in accordance with syllabus set out by the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) examinations board.  The requirements column gives a guide to the level of experience of the student. New students below the age of 10 with no dance experience will join the beginners class.  Students above 10 with no experience of Bharatanatyam will join Grade 1. Examinations are held once a year usually towards the end of the spring term. Additional courses involving intensive training are held during school half-term periods.
